Palm Beach

PBI in Southeast Florida began operations as Morrison Field in 1936. It was used by the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II as a staging base for the Allied invasion of France, with numerous aircraft departing Morrison to take part in the D-Day invasion of Normandy. Palm Beach County is known as the “Golf Capital of the World” for its 160 plus golf courses.
